3D Animation Research
3D animation is used in many different ways such as: Architecture, film productions, music productions and many others.
using 3D animation for architecture has really revolutionised the architectural world because with the ability of 3D animation architects can make there visions that much closer to reality.
here is an example video of a architect company that specialises in 3D animation:

3D animation has also played massive parts in films which can vary from Small special effects too a whole movie production, again like the architecture side of 3D animation, it helps bring the unnatural and unreal that much closer to reality, some examples of films using 3D animation are:
Toy Story
Shrek
Gollum form Lord of the rings
and these are only some of the hundreds of films that use 3D animation, as well as the film section 3D animation is begining to appear in music videos, it isn't as popular as the others but it is starting to grow, here are some examples of music videos that use 3D animation:

3D Animation
Here is a screenshot of the leg I created using simple dynamics, This screenshot shows you all the joints that I have placed within the leg, along with a brief image of the final leg that I used for the animation that is above.
Here is my final project animation using Cinema 4D, for my final animation I created a basic looking sniper in a ghillie suit and for the animation, I have you looking in a first-person view as if you were the sniper, after a couple seconds the gun comes closer and the scope aligns with the screen, it then cuts to a scoped view of the target along with this I made the scope animate for realistic aiming after the scope roams around the target I made the scope stiffen as if the sniper is holding his breath just before taken the shot. After the shot is taken I attached a camera to the bullet for a bullet trail effect, the camera stop following the bullet after impact and then pans out to a white background. I added in sound effects for some extra realism, I added a heartbeat sound when sniper is scoped in this sound was followed by a deep breath & hold sound just as the shot is taken, when the bullet gets near the target I used an impact sound which builds and as the bullet hits the target thats when the impact sound kicks in.
